Currently, all bookings come with free flight changes where a passenger is due to fly before the end of the year. The low-cost carrier change fee is pretty infamous. In addition to the flat fee for flight changes, passengers will often have to pay extra if there is a fare difference. It can often be cheaper to create a whole new booking than to change a booking. After more than a year, however, the budget carrier is doing away with its no-fee change policies as air travel slowly begins to normalise.

For new bookings made from 1 October, passengers will no longer be able to change their travel tickets without paying a penalty. Also, the return to pre-pandemic ticket-change fees comes at a time when ever-changing travel protocols mean air travel remains volatile.
