The final factor doesn't affect your ability to attract Morinth, but will give one final clue regarding her interests. In the entrance tunnel you'll spot a human called Vij, who'll talk about a crazy Asari girl who's into a band called Expel You can use this information later when you talk with Morinth face-to-face.
So with that, let's head into the bar proper. We'll break down the various activities you can do, what you need to do to pass, and how to avoid failing. In the bar section directly to the left of the entrance will be a man in a white suit named Horftin.
As he explains, his partner is currently interviewing a crime boss named Florit, and is in mortal peril. You'll need to tip her off covertly so that she can escape with her life. Directly across from the entrance on the central dance floor is a Turian named Meln making incredibly unsolicited advances on one of the Asari dancers. Close to where the Meln the Creep is on the dance floor will be Waera the Dancer. Talk to her, and you can make an offer to dance.
To the far left of the entryway will be a bar, tended to by a human named Edwin. Talk to him to try and encourage him to buy a round of drinks for his customers. Between the bar and the reporter parts of the bar, you can find a pair of turians on two seats talking about mugging someone, one of which is named Vertin. As soon as you pass any three of the activities listed above, Morinth will flag you over and offer a seat with her. You've successfully piqued her interest, and now you need to convince her that you're her perfect next target.
To do that, you'll need to talk about things that interest her. Using the clues gathered earlier in the Mission will help the most here, otherwise you'll have to use Charm or Intimidate options to retain Morinth's interest. This sounds intimidating, but with the clues you picked up on your way here which appear in the bottom-left corner of the Dialogue Wheel , it'll be a cinch.
Here's what you should do:. Once you've buttered up Morinth enough, she'll invite Shepard up to her Apartment, with Samara watching on.
From this point on, it'll be impossible to fail the Loyalty Mission! Once back at the apartment, you'll have control of Shepard once more.
Morinth will be sitting on a sofa nearby, but don't speak with her just yet, though. There's other things to explore in the apartment too, including a Sword, a Pill Bottle, a Sculpture and a Chess Set, but while they do give exposition on Morinth, they are entirely optional.
Speak to Morinth to enter the conclusion of the Mission. Here, Morinth will attempt to butter you up, but of course we're privy to her game.
At this point you'll need to pass three Persuasion Checks, but it's actually the third one, when Morinth attempts to meld with you, that's important, at least for Renegades. If you can respond with either the "Surprise" Charm or "You screwed up" Intimidate, you'll have resisted Morinth's charms.
